Intercontinental
Resort & Spa Moorea
|
| This
resort feels large, though with 94 bungalows and 43 lanai
rooms, there's a good sense of privacy and space. An extensive
lagoon system provides for lots of swimming areas. The only
dolphin experience on the island is located here, and there's
a sea turtle program (but you cannot swim with the dolphins).
This is an excellent choice for a romantic stay as well as
families who want to visit Tahiti. The overwater bungalows
extend from islands, and not piers. An exceptional blend of
seclusion, with plenty to do at the resort. |

Sheraton
Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa
|
| This
resort offers a total of 106 bungalows (garden, beach, and
overwater), including connecting garden bungalows for families.
There's a wonderful spa onsite, the resort location provides
great views. Bungalows are positively lovely, and all include
claw-footed bath-tubs! |

Moorea
Pearl Resort & Spa
|
| This
resort is very popular, and with good reason. The centrally
located infinity pool is a favorite hang out spot, and the
dining here is delicious. Garden bungalows have been rennovated
to include private plunge pools. The beach and overwater bungalows
are always a favorite, and the traditional hotel rooms are
an affordable option. |

Sofitel
Moorea Beach Resort
|
| This
resort has recently reopened (late 2006) after major renovations,
giving a fresh new look to the bungalows and bringing this
resort up to solid 4 star (+) standards. |
