A continent with many cultures and rich history, Europe is a great destination for honeymoon couples.

Thinking about honeymooning in Europe? Consider these ideas:

• Visit Switzerland, enjoying her breathtaking natural beauty. Enjoy a couple night's stay in the Alps, a few days "in lower altitude" relaxing lakeside, and a few days exploring a historical city. A Swiss Pass in your package will provide unlimited access to the train and transportation system.

• Try a bed & breakfast tour of Ireland, completely independent and enjoying the culture and countryside. Included in the package is a car rental (automatic transmissions are available, but the stick-shift is cheaper). For a little magic, stay a night or two in a castle.
• Rent a car and stay at a couple of Paradores in Spain. Many of these charming hotels are actually former castles or monastaries. Round off your Spain visit with a few relaxing nights on the beach in Costa del Sol.
• Try Island Hopping in Greece. Visit Athens for a couple of nights, then hop over to one of many islands. Try a couple of island stayovers, or see even more with a Greece Island cruise.
• Are you an active couple looking for the experience of a lifetime? Why not participate in a hiking or biking tour of your dream region in Europe...such as Tuscany or Burgundy. Your mornings will be spent along expertly selected paths through countrysides and small towns, with afternoons and evenings to enjoy fine dining and charming inns.

Cruise -- Baltic cruises are offered in the Summer, while Mediterranean cruise are offered Spring through Fall. River Cruises -- river cruises and conventional cruises have only one thing in common -- a boat! Otherwise, a river cruise is much like that of a guided tour, with added conveniences. Unpack only once. Feel free to participate in as much or as little as you desire. And enjoy the scenery!
